The atmosphere is tense as meteorologist LISA prepares for the annual Groundhog Day broadcast. She glances at her co-worker, TOM, who is setting up the camera equipment.

LISA (whispering) I hope Phil sees his shadow today. I could use some good news.

TOM (smiling) Fingers crossed.

EXT. GROUNDHOG DAY FESTIVAL - MAIN SQUARE - DAY

The town is buzzing with excitement. Locals and tourists gather around the stage, eagerly awaiting Phil's prediction.

LISA (on camera) Good morning, everyone! We're here in Punxsutawney for the most anticipated event of the year – Groundhog Day! Will Phil see his shadow? Let's find out!

PHIL THE GROUNDHOG is brought out in a cage to the stage. The crowd cheers.

LISA (into the camera) And now, the moment we've all been waiting for. Phil, the world's most famous groundhog, will now make his prediction.

Phil emerges from his cage. The crowd falls silent.

PHIL (mumbling) Six more weeks of winter.

The crowd groans.

LISA (disappointed) Well, there you have it, folks. Phil predicts six more weeks of winter. Back to you in the studio.

INT. WEATHER STATION - LATER

Lisa and Tom pack up their equipment.

TOM (looking at Lisa) Don't worry, Lisa. Maybe next year will be different.

LISA (sighs) I've been coming here for years, and it's always the same. I need a change.

Suddenly, the clock on the wall strikes 6:00 AM.

EXT. MAIN SQUARE - DAY

The same scene as before, Lisa and Tom setting up for the broadcast.

LISA (confused) Wait, didn't we just do this?

TOM (smiling) Deja vu, huh? Let's get ready for Phil's prediction.

The day repeats itself, and Lisa realizes she's stuck in a time loop, reliving Groundhog Day over and over.

LISA (in disbelief) I'm stuck. Every day is Groundhog Day.

Lisa tries various ways to break the loop – changing her behavior, attempting to leave town, and even convincing Phil to predict an early spring.

LISA (CONT'D) (to Tom) I need your help. I'm reliving the same day!

TOM (skeptical) Groundhog Day? Seriously?

Together, they come up with a plan to break the time loop. They embrace the spirit of Groundhog Day, finding joy in each repetition and spreading positivity throughout the town.

LISA (realizing) Maybe breaking the loop isn't about changing the day, but changing ourselves.

As Lisa and Tom learn to appreciate the small moments and find happiness in the repetition, the time loop finally breaks.

EXT. MAIN SQUARE - DAY (FINAL LOOP)

LISA (excited) Phil, make your prediction!

PHIL (smiling) Early spring!

The crowd erupts in cheers.

LISA (laughing) We did it, Tom! We broke the loop!

TOM (happy) Groundhog Day will never be the same again.
